I can totally picture one of these as a canvas. These girls are so cute I may just have to hang these on my own wall....

Dads and Daughters

Rewind to last fall when we found out our niece, who has been dancing for many years, is going to be doing a Dads and Daughters dance with her Dad. Really? I just couldn't picture it. They practiced every Saturday while the rest of us patiently waited, with visions of Matt in a pink tutu dancing though our heads. Well finally recital day came and let me tell you, it was awesome! They danced to Grease Lightening and they were great! These pictures are from the dress rehearsal a few nights before recital. I'm so impressed with all these Dads! (Although slightly disappointed about the lack of tutus.) And of course the girls rock, they always do. I wish I had a few shots of Madison in her other performances but I don't. The recital was 3 hours of complete entertainment and absolute talent on the part of the girls who dance for Center Stage Dance Studio. I loved it!

Jake's New Trick

Anyone need daycare???

Okay this is sort of an advertisement but also an opportunity to see some cute kids!! These are the kids of one of my (ex) co-workers, an elementary special ed. teacher (autism). She is starting an in home daycare next year and it will be absolutely awesome!! So if anyone needs daycare in the Apple Valley/Lakeville area let me know! Okay already, check out the kids.....

All I want for Christmas....

We are a little early for Christmas or I'd be all over a card for this one. This little guy is Jake's friend from kindergarten. Jake has talked of little else since he moved here last winter from PA. He is such a nice little boy. He called me "Jake's Mom" for the entire shoot. To his credit it is fewer syllables than "Jessica". (opps, every now and then the speech therapist in me sneaks out.)


His little brother is equally as cute and wow are they happy kids!

Girls!

The first of many girls lately. I would like to claim being related to these cuties, but they are my sister-in-law's sister's kids. More than likely they didn't get their looks from me.....

Flowers

Wow! Two blogs in a week. I'm on a roll. And my kids are gone.
Usually I photograph people, but I've been into flowers this spring I guess.

My Baby is 3!

Will turned 3 last week. We had his party on the weekend but this is from his actual birthday which was during the week. He fell asleep on the way home from daycare and did not appreciate being woken up.


But things started to look up once the presents came out...

And we ended with dinos, sleeping bags and happiness!

What is with my children and costumes? I'm not sure but it makes for funny pictures.

Random things....

I think I am being nominated for the worst blogger ever award! Oh well. I also can't get the photos to show up with the right color AND I can't seem to get a new header designed. All in all, a terrible blogger. BUT at least I have pictures of a cute family to share. This is a family from my daycare. We are really very lucky, not only to have a great daycare provider, but also to have so many great families and kids...



I just came across these photos from a session last summer and I had to share. They make me laugh every time I see them. Seriously cute kids who think I am seriously crazy. I might have to make them my screen saver.
