You may remember this little guy from previous posts. He was one the first babies I shot and now at 18 months old here is a good representation of the photos as I unloaded my memory card. I wonder what his face looks like you ask....well never fear...

We managed plenty of the dimples on the front side as well....

The Contortionist Visitor

Check out this bird sitting in our landscaping today...What I find funny about this picture is the tiny bird house next too it. Maybe he's a contortionist who lives in there. I'll have to keep an eye on it. I don't even know what kind of bird this is...other than I don't usually see it in my backyard. A pigeon ? Maybe he brought me a note. Okay I may be going off the deep end. I have a child who is the crabbiest he's ever been in his entire life and I am hiding out by the computer hoping he won't notice...at least for 10 minutes.

The gene of youth | St. Paul Family Photographer

I took these pictures of my cousin (with the dark hair) and her 2 girls last week. I know what you're thinking...how does this 25 year old have kids so old? Well she isn't 25, she only looks it. In fact she may have had a significant birthday this year. (Hint: 20+20=??) I think this young looking gene runs in my family....my aunts and uncle, my mom, both my grandparents....I sure hope I inherited it...that is yet to be determined.

Here is another Lakeville senior girl. I actually had all 3 of her younger siblings in preschool and have known her family since I started in Lakeville. They are the NICEST people ever and her Mom may just have to be my new assistant. Awesome to work with! She does some acting which makes for an excellent photography subject. That and the killer green eyes!

Then....we are at a local park, doing our thing when suddenly we come across the playground which happens to have a hippo in it. Turns out she is really into hippos and has tons of hippo stuff. I have to say I've never known anyone into hippos, nor have I been to a park that contains one. If that isn't fate I don't know what is.
