I love these cool tree roots. It would be so much fun to build a fort....if it weren't for the fact that it was 36 degrees. What a trooper this big kindergartner was!!!
...and when you were born weighing less than 2 pounds that is something to brag about. Here is my little friend Finn. At 9 months old he's working on rolling and sitting but clearly has being cute mastered. There are always so many good moments with Mom.... We got some with Dad too this time.
Please keep our neighbors in your thoughts and prayers in the upcoming weeks. They have been and continue to deal with something no family should ever have to deal with. We are so sad this morning. http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/tylermagnuson
Okay so we weren't in a van. But we were by the river. Considering the doom and gloom of the last couple of days (or has it been weeks?) we were lucky to catch a break and the light from the river in combination with a good looking family.....awesome! I love everything about this first one....the color, the outfits, the kissing, the kids' oblivion. Here are a few more to tide you over!
This little guy loves the camera....and the camera (or at least the camera operator) loves him! What a great family...seriously you can't fake this happiness!
Meet some of my favorite people (that I never see). This Mom and I went to grad school together. Her husband is a graphic designer who has helped me tremendously in the past few years. And their kids....well see for yourself. I love this shoot because it brought a lot of spontaneity back to my photography. It was a very active shoot with 20 month twins and a 4 year old....and I LOVE how they turned out....right down to my crazy camera angle on this first one. Thanks guys!
and too bad it is so far away. These lovely people are the kids of my good friend from HS, her sister's kids and her brother's kids. All together they are the grandkids of my parents' good friends as well. Can you follow all this? Anyway they have the best yard EVER. Cool painted barns and sheds...pretty flowers, a manure spreader and thanks to the man of the house a bunch of junk which makes for cool props! Next year we need to get the old RV in a few....
