and here are a few from the derby. As Jake said "it wasn't built for speed, it was built for style." Jake doesn't do a lot of things with speed in mind. True to form he took 4th place for best in show. The trophy has been a BIG hit at our house.

Pinewood Derby
The long awaited, much anticipated Pinewood Derby was Friday night. Dad (and of course boys) have been working on the cars since about Christmas. Will's is a replica of his favorite pirate ship toy and Jake's a Star Wars Land Speeder. We did a few pictures before the derby....

Randomness...
Just wanted to share a couple of products with you. I did this book so we could have some pictures from our year actually printed. I am really happy with how it turned out. I copied the idea for the monthly page layouts from another photographer. The second one is a picture I took of Andy kayaking last summer. I did a really dreamy effect on it and had it printed as a float wrap (still have to take a picture of that.)

To the Zoo | Twin Cities Children's Photographer
It's a tough time of year for photography. The snow, what's left of it, is dirty, the grass is ugly and it isn't exactly warm yet. So we headed to the zoo. Fun for all. Little Noah just turned two. He is a very sweet little boy and his parents are great. I just love them. It's like hanging out with friends. We start talking and I forget I'm supposed to be taking pictures! Hate when that happens.....
I love all the expressions of a 2 year old.

Back to Winter | Twin Cities Children's Photography
I think John is the very first baby I ever took pictures of. Now he's two. He will have no problem with the ladies down the road. Just flash the dimples John, it's always worked on me :)

Disney World!
We went to Disney World at the beginning of February. What an amazing place. We had so much fun! Here are some photos. We only took the point and shoot camera.....so don't judge me :)

This is at the Animal Kingdom:

And of course Epcot. It was raining the day we were here, but makes for kind of a cool picture.
This is part of our hotel, Port Orleans - Riverside. We could take a boat to Downtown Disney from here.
