Our Saturday | Twin Cities Family Photography

I have some photos to share from our day yesterday.  We had brunch for Andy's Dad's birthday.  Madison (our neice) had to dance in the afternoon so she got ready at our house.  Had to get some shots of the make-up.  Of course she is a lovely girl without the make-up, but these lashes were begging for my new lens...

After she left to dance the rest of us headed to the zoo.  Andy's Dad had never seen the bear exhibit and boy did he get a show.  The bears were crazy yesterday.  They were running around, jumping in the water, fighting, climbing and fishing.  I felt like a national geographic photographer...

...and finally Dan and Nancy with the kids.  Wish Madison was in this because it is a good picture.

It was a newborn kind of weekend and apparently I was really liking my white blanket.   Here's another cutie belonging to one of the OTs I work with.  His big brother and Will are good friends also.  It's just another all around lovely family with a beautiful new baby.

Meet baby Amalia.   Dark hair, dark eyes.   The opposite of her big brother.  But equally sweet.  We had her in many hats but make sure to check out her hair in the one without a hat.  So cute!

NEW PRODUCT - the Slim Wrap

I just got this little number for my Mom and I LOVE it!!   It's called a Slim Wrap.  It's a photographic print mounted onto a special substrate.  The image is laminated either glossy or matte.  A black paper is added to the back for a finished look.  They come with either a mounting block for hanging, or an easel (shown here).  They come in all shapes and sizes (contact me for pricing).

Target Field!!! | Minneapolis Natural Light Photographer

This is the son of one of my very best friends.  She wasn't able to come along but this little guy, his Dad and I had a great time riding the train down to Target Field and walking around.  Happy 3rd Isaac!!

I am about to embarrass my sister-in-law a tad.  It's okay, I know she can take it.  So the kids are coloring Easter eggs in my parent's kitchen.  It's rather dark so I am taking some pictures using a flash and she says "Oh that's a cute one of Jack.  Can you just crop it and we will use it for his 4 year old picture?"   SERIOUSLY?   Crazy lady....like I'm going to use a crappy flash picture taken in the kitchen to represent his 4 year old year of life?   I am his aunt and I do take pictures from time to time...I think we can do better than that.  She is really just so nice that she doesn't want to put anyone out.  Anyway, we simply stepped outside and ......
