Something I've never done before and what a fun experience. What a beautiful setting!! I may just pitch a tent in their backyard from April until November. And then I saw the old red farm truck......yep, I can definitely live in a tent for that.

2 Horses and a Newborn | Shoreview Newborn Photographer
The 2 horses you'll have to stop back for (it will be worth it!) but this newborn is about as cute as they come. He was only 8 days old with everything going for him including looks and a wonderful family. Here are a few but I may have to post more when I get through them all.

LEGO MANIAC
I just have to share this. It relates so nicely to something I posted a few back. Jake is obsessed with Legos right now. He builds some pretty creative things, most of which relate to Star Wars. Well this particular creation, surprisingly, has nothing to do with Star Wars.

It's a toilet.
Yep, a toilet. Complete with a pantsless man perched on it. Gotta love it.
I should be editing today but it is going to be beautiful and I'm off to the new, the lovely, the outdoor stadium. Go Gophers!

Randomness | Twin Cities Photographer of Cute Things
There area few images sitting on my computer that I wanted to share....First the new Gopher stadium. Ahhhh....isn't it lovely?
Next my boys....they actually do exist even though I rarely post them...The reason for the big smiles is that Jake is stepping in dog poop here and of course anything that can be related to a bathroom is hilarious.
and finally a cute picture of my neice. I actually have pictures of all the kids eating brightly colored popcicles that are adorable, but whenever will I get to them?

Up next - ADORABLE pictures of the ADORABLE daughter of our friends Sara and Joe who is wearing the most ADORABLE dress. (there, if anyone googles "ADORABLE" I should get a hit!)

The Top 6 Reasons I Need a Farm | Twin Cities Senior Photographer
Reason #6 - Where else can you take pictures of someone coming out of a corn field?
Reason #5 - Because I want an entire grove of trees instead of the 2 trees that I currently call my own

Reason #4 Because I want a field like this to contrast nicely with my ugly red chair
Reason #3 Because farms often have cool old corn cribs with the paint chipping off
Reason #2 Because I want a tire swing (not just a photography prop, my kids would enjoy this one too)

and the #1 reason I need a farm is because all these things add together to make for a great photo shot. I could write off a farm couldn't I? Totally a business expense....

The Dangers of Photography | LAKEVILLE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER
I've always said I am going to be injured during a shoot. I can see it now....backing up slowly to get further away form the subject while my eye is glued to the camera and I fall right off a cliff. Okay, a curb maybe but still, it is bound to happen. There are dangers involved in this industry. The danger I never thought of was a killer dog. Check it out...
Okay, he may have been yawning here, even still, a scary picture. Easy Ace, everyone knows I'm not a dog person. So this is an old co-worker....I mean a former co-worker. Kristyn, do you like how I'm keeping you up to date with pictures of all your MN friends? This shoot was a blast! What a fun family.....

So Sad
Please keep our neighbors in your thoughts and prayers in the upcoming weeks. They have been and continue to deal with something no family should ever have to deal with. We are so sad this morning.

In a van down by the river.... | St. Paul Family Photographer
Okay so we weren't in a van. But we were by the river. Considering the doom and gloom of the last couple of days (or has it been weeks?) we were lucky to catch a break and the light from the river in combination with a good looking family.....awesome! I love everything about this first one....the color, the outfits, the kissing, the kids' oblivion. Here are a few more to tide you over!

I LOVE this.... | Savage Family Photographer
Meet some of my favorite people (that I never see). This Mom and I went to grad school together. Her husband is a graphic designer who has helped me tremendously in the past few years. And their kids....well see for yourself. I love this shoot because it brought a lot of spontaneity back to my photography. It was a very active shoot with 20 month twins and a 4 year old....and I LOVE how they turned out....right down to my crazy camera angle on this first one. Thanks guys!
